ApprenticeshipNH, a program led by the Community College System of New Hampshire, has opened a request for proposal process to award $340,000 annually to apprenticeship programs across the state.
The funds awarded will go to support improving resources and networks for registered apprenticeship programs throughout the Granite State as a means to boost workforce development.
The program said the goal is to create “a regional hub model that aligns with the geographic locations of community colleges.” These hubs will be designed to provide technical assistance and financial support that further develop apprenticeship programs across many occupations, thereby bolstering the pipeline that directly feeds into New Hampshire’s workforce.

“We are seeking proposals that will expand the infrastructure of Registered Apprenticeship pathways to fill critical workforce demands and provide opportunities for all residents of New Hampshire,” said Anne Banks, apprenticeship programs manager. “This funding opportunity will allow industry leaders and community organizations to explore and implement strategies that best address the needs in their region.”
Through the RFP process – which is open through March 10 — CCSNH is looking to engage 50 to 100 employers in order to enroll 500 to 700 participants in apprenticeship programs, as well as develop 32 new pre-apprenticeship programs and expand 60 others.
