40+ NH-Based Veteran Service Organizations to meet April 16th in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH – Building on the momentum to better coordinate both care and awareness efforts surrounding the widespread availability of services to New Hampshire Veterans and their families, Swim With A Mission (SWAM) is hosting the 4th Annual NH Veterans Summit to improve the essential connections needed to maximize the good work being done by dozens of nonprofit Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs).

The 2024 summit agenda includes workshops on marketing and fundraising techniques to enhance services statewide, the role of government in addressing key issues facing Veterans and how to coordinate care between the federal and state governments and nonprofits. The Summit will be held at the Currier Museum of Art, which has hosted art therapy programs for Veterans for years.

“Previous summits have resulted in the leaders of our Veteran service organizations better connecting and working together, which has made an enormous difference in access to programs,” explains Phil Taub, co-founder of SWAM.  “Homelessness and suicide rates among Veterans are rising. Our goal is to get VSOs more aligned to better the address these problems.”
