Nov. 21: 30th Annual FIT fundraising breakfast for Homelessness and Food Insecurity

Families in Transition will host the 30th Annual  Breakfast on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Hundreds of businesses, political and community leaders will gather at the organization’s largest annual fundraiser to kick off the holiday season with heartfelt giving in support of people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in the Granite State. Last year, the event drew more than 520 people and raised $250,000 to support the mission of preventing and breaking the cycle of homelessness. 

New hires, leadership changes, and promotions at Families in Transition/New Horizons

Families in Transition-New Horizons (FIT-NH) announces changes to its leadership and management team with new hires and internal promotions to support the ongoing needs of the organization. Several internal staff members will take on new roles and responsibilities in light of the organizational changes, and additional staff members have been hired to fill new and open positions.

New Horizons partners with Stark Brewing Co. to provide meal delivery to area homeless

This state-funded effort will ensure that there will be daily access to hot meals for participants who cannot easily access food with the soup kitchen shuttered to participants not staying in the shelter due to the pandemic.  This partnership will deliver meals twice a day, seven days a week to multiple points around the city, starting April 30.

Maureen Beauregard will leave FIT/New Horizons to fill Easterseals President & CEO slot
