MANCHESTER, NH  – The Boys & Girls Club of Manchester (BGCM) has hosted hundreds of children each summer at Camp Foster, located in Bedford, New Hampshire. In 2018/2019, the camp underwent a complete renovation, resulting in updated facilities and over 20 acres of enhanced outdoor space.

As the 2023 summer season came to a close, BGCM opted to add two new pavilions to the site. Instead of using large tents as in past years, the Club has decided to build permanent structures that could withstand the elements and serve campers for years to come.

Thanks to generous support and ARPA funding from Hillsborough County, BGCM can now build these essential pavilions, allowing the Club to serve more children each summer and provide them with unforgettable experiences in the great outdoors.

“It is imperative that we build strong and sustainable structures for our campers. The tents served their purpose over the last few years, but it was time to commit to building permanent pavilions that will provide lasting shade and comfortability for years to come.” – Diane Fitzpatrick, Chief Executive Officer of BGCM

The project is being led by the team at Harvey Construction, and a groundbreaking ceremony was held on Wednesday, October 18th, with members of BGCM, the leadership team, and Harvey Construction in attendance to kick off the construction.
