CONCORD, NH – New Hampshire Housing’s 2024 Homeownership Conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, at the Grappone Center, 70 Constitution Ave.
The conference will feature a discussion of the current housing landscape, solutions for increasing inventory, as well as ideas on affordability, availability, and access.
Topics include:
- “Building Hope: Homes for Tomorrow’s Homebuyers,” which features presentations on 3D printing starter homes, ADUs, and mixed-use housing developments, all possible solutions to the 23,500-unit housing shortage in New Hampshire.
- “Civic Leadership & Housing Development,” featuring discussion of housing challenges and successes in different communities, facilitated by Laura Knoy
- Chris Herbert, Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University, discussing the center’s research, which zeroes in on the interplay between financial and demographic aspects of homeownership that provide insights for developing housing policy,
The conference will also feature an optional lunch session from 12:45-2:15 p.m. to connect and converse with conference panelists and participants, and discuss housing solutions, facilitated by Matthew Gallant, Senior Manager, Business Development for New Hampshire Housing’s Homeownership Division.
