Picnic in the Park July 26!

MANCHESTER, NH – The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) and Wells Fargo Advisors, are hosting a community and downtown employee appreciation picnic in Victory Park on July 26 from noon to 2 p.m.

Whether you are a Manchester resident, work in the city, or are just passing through, all community members are invited to step out of their houses and offices during the lunch hour to Picnic in the Park together. There will be music, games, and activities presented by sponsors that include the Manchester Monarchs, NH Fisher Cats, Manchester Public Library and City Year.

Attendees can purchase lunch from various on-site food trucks or are welcome to bring a bag lunch. There will be a free kickboxing class from noon – 1 p.m. that is open to all, presented by The Training Station, a Chamber member.

“Our vision for this picnic is to encourage everyone in this community to come together and enjoy the outdoors during their lunch hour,” said Michael Skelton, GMCC President & CEO. “We want the community to realize just how much potential our city parks have and what beautiful green spaces we have so close by.”

Victory Park is located across the street from the Manchester Public Library. Metered parking is available on street and in the adjacent parking lot, and there is also a city parking garage across the street.

Attendees do not need to register, just show up! For more information contact GMCC Member Communications Manager Lauren Getts, at laureng@manchester-chamber.org or 603-792-4119 and follow the GMCC on Facebook @grtrmanchester for event updates.
