Sununu says the commission will “develop, support and implement initiatives that address the needs of victims and survivors.” That means a lot of things, but since this is a column about consumer finance, let’s hope it makes an effort to recognize, and inform the public on, one aspect of domestic violence that’s often overlooked: financial control and abuse.
