MANCHESTER, NH – In advance of the anticipated Walmart grand opening on Gold Street on April 20, 2016, Manchester Police are advising motorists to be aware that on Monday, April 18 gates will be lowered and both Gold Street and Sewall Street will no longer be open to through-traffic.
Look for new traffic patterns, and use I-293 Exit 1 for access to South Willow Street and area businesses.
The 180,000-square-feet super store will be about 1.6 times larger than the Keller Street Wal-Mart and feature a full grocery store and money center, where customers can cash checks and buy money orders separate from the service desk. Service Credit Union and Subway restaurant will move from the Keller Street to the new Wal-Mart.
