Now through June 30, Walgreens is testing a “1-Hour Guarantee, Or It’s Free,” same-day delivery promise across New Hampshire.
The offer, which is running exclusively across Northern New England, guarantees customers will have items delivered to their door within the hour, and if it’s even a minute late, customers will be able to request and receive a refund of up to $50.* The offer is available exclusively for myWalgreens members, Walgreens free rewards program.
More than 27,000 items are available for 1-hour Delivery including vitamins and over-the-counter medicine for those focused on their health and wellness journey or need relief in a pinch. A last-minute picnic, play-date or sick or sunburned kiddo often calls for quick supplies, and Walgreens has it covered! Walgreens is so confident in its delivery capabilities that it’s willing to guarantee it’ll be there in an hour – and if not, the company will give you a refund AND your order. Should an order be delayed, customers must be a myWalgreens member in order to receive a refund. myWalgreens is the retailer’s free rewards program that takes just an email and phone number to sign up. The offer does not apply to alcohol deliveries and excludes prescriptions.
Walgreens has a long-standing history of providing customers with convenience from its nearly 9,000 locations. Earlier this year, Walgreens became the first health and wellness retailer to offer 24-hour delivery, allowing caretakers to order items like OTC medications for their elderly parent, helping a parent who forgot to buy sunscreen for their kids first day at camp or for the last-minute toiletry item you forgot to pack before leaving for your summer getaway. These offerings build upon Walgreens convenience offerings including 1-Hour Delivery and 30-Minute Pickup for retail products and prescription same day delivery.
The retailer has not announced plans to extend or expand the test.

Customer will receive refund to their original payment method within 5-7 days after claim is submitted. Some deliveries may not be eligible for refund due to delivery address, holidays, weather or other delivery constraints. Prescriptions are not eligible for 1-Hour Delivery but may be eligible for delivery through Walgreens Express®. Offer not available for alcohol orders. Any tips given to couriers will not be refunded. No partial order acceptance is permitted, and products may not be returned if refund is issued. Most deliveries do not require an individual’s presence or signature. However, if your order contains an age-restricted item, you will be required to show a valid government ID to verify age.
