April 16: 4th Annual NH Veterans Summit at the Currier Museum

Building on the momentum to better coordinate both care and awareness efforts surrounding the widespread availability of services to New Hampshire Veterans and their families, Swim With A Mission (SWAM) is hosting the 4th Annual NH Veterans Summit to improve the essential connections needed to maximize the good work being done by dozens of nonprofit Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs).

Webster House Honors John Clayton, raises $250K+ at 3rd Annual ‘Night of Giving’   

Despite the inclement weather, the evening brought together hundreds of community members to celebrate the amazing work being done at Webster House. This year’s event honored  John Clayton, a long-time Manchester resident and past Board member who has a personal connection with the Webster House dating back to his grandfather, who was raised at the home.

Citizens announces $35K in Financial Empowerment Grants to NH nonprofits

In recognition of Financial Literacy Month, Citizens on April 9 announced $35,000 in financial empowerment grants to support two New Hampshire nonprofit organizations as part of the bank’s Citizens Helping Citizens Manage Money program. Through funding and volunteerism, Citizens will support local financial literacy partners that provide training to empower communities to achieve financial wellness and build brighter futures.

Webster House receives $30K from M&T Charitable Foundation

The M&T Charitable Foundation, the philanthropic arm of M&T Bank (NYSE:MTB), announced it has awarded $30,000 to Webster House Children’s Home. The grant is part of the 30 & 30 Initiative in which 30 organizations across the bank’s footprint received $30,000 to fight homelessness and develop affordable housing in low- to moderate-income communities. The 30 & 30 Initiative was launched in commemoration of the foundation’s 30th anniversary.

SBDC, clients had a $244 million impact on NH in 2023, according to annual report

Entrepreneurs and small business owners across New Hampshire – 1,721 of them – sought support and advice from the state’s Small Business Development Centers in 2023, and the organization’s total economic impact on the state was $244 million, according to the SBDC 2023 Impact Report.
