MANCHESTER, NH – Crews continue to keep the runways clear at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, despite the fact that nearly every incoming and departing flight for March 14 has been canceled.
The above Facebook post went up around 10 a.m. showing the airport plow convoy hard at work, trying to keep up with the snowfall – expected to reach upwards of 18 inches in southern New Hampshire before it ends.
A quick check of the airport website tells the rest of the story – blizzard conditions have grounded most northeast air travel. It’s the same story at Logan International Airport today, with all incoming and departing flights canceled.
The airport recommends travelers contact individual airlines to check your flight status before traveling to the airport, giving you the best shot at making a quick alternative travel plan.
