Bike Manchester launches 50/50 bike rack program

Bike rack applications will be evaluated on, and priority given to, those whose proposed bike rack locations are most visible to the public, are accessible to the greatest numbers of bicyclists and potential bicyclists, and on the strength of the applicants’ plans to promote bike rack use to their customers, employees, and/or commercial tenants.

Snowy owls pose problem at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport

According to Deputy Airport Director Brian O’Neill, snowy owls were first spotted in the spring, and have returned for the winter, forcing airport personnel to “harass and scare” the birds away from runways and surrounding areas using FAA-approved programs that don’t harm the birds.

Victoria Cimino Named Director of NH Division of Travel and Tourism Development

As Director, she’ll guide DTTD in its mission of developing and promoting New Hampshire as a domestic and international travel destination to increase visitation, business activity and employment throughout the state. Cimino officially started her new role December 8.
