Fidelity hiring, including 311 jobs in New Hampshire

Fidelity’s 2022 annual report, released Feb. 21, highlights the company’s people-focused investments driven by another year of strong financial performance across its businesses.

Fidelity is hiring 311 jobs in New Hampshire focused on customer service and tech.

Following years of record hiring, in the first half of 2023 Fidelity expects to hire another 4,000 people, focusing on customer service and tech, including 311 new roles in New Hampshire. Fidelity, a privately-owned company, has been rolling out new benefits to make long-term investments in its people, including a fully funded undergraduate degree benefit. Fidelity offers career pathways as part of a revised onboarding experience designed to promote mobility and experiential learning. Glassdoor recently named Fidelity a Best Place to Work in 2023.

“We take a long-term view to investing in our overall workforce and our people, just as we do in our businesses,” said Kirsten Kuykendoll, head of talent acquisition at Fidelity. “We’re not only continuing to fill new roles in 2023, but we’re investing in the people who work here through our benefits, career, and development opportunities. We encourage our associates to ask, ‘What’s next?’ and learn-by-doing across our company, which offers an unmatched amount of career exploration pathways.”

Specific to New Hampshire we are hiring for 311 open roles. Broken out by area of focus: we are hiring for 96 client-facing roles (31%), 87 technology roles (28%) and 128 roles in business support functions (41%).

For some of the positions, we are looking for certain expertise, which are outlined in the job descriptions. Here are some of the high-level skills and interests we look for:

  • Client-facing hires include customer service representatives, financial consultants, licensed professionals, and sales & relationship management positions supporting retail, workplace, and intermediary clients. 
  • Technology hires refer to full stack software engineers, data scientists, mobile/IOS engineers and architecture professionals. 
  • Business support functions hires include operations, client services, product management, marketing, human resources, finance, compliance, and more. You may ask if a background in financial services or finance is required. The answer is no, Fidelity’s new, innovative training programs are meant to help train the next generation of financial services talent. Fidelity has several programs for associates that are designed to promote ongoing education and career exploration.

These programs will: 

  • Introduce new hires to multiple career pathways in the organization through hands-on training and experiential learning while building skills and experiences. 
  • Offer intentional development and future-placement-focused variety of day with a clear and supported approach to career development. 
  • Provide opportunities to explore the variety of career paths we offer including operations, learning & development, marketing, hiring, social media, digital advocacy, and data analytics. Some programs also include support to receive financial licensing.  

A few more ways Fidelity is committed to attracting talent includes our evolving benefits to meet the changing needs of our associates. In the past 12 months, Fidelity has introduced a fully funded undergraduate degree as well as expanded parental leave for its associates as well as fertility and adoption assistance. We will continue to evolve our benefit offerings in 2023.
