MANCHESTER, N.H. – Last week, Bank of America announced that it is donating $25,000 to the New Hampshire Food Bank as part of an $8 million initiative to help local hunger organizations.

The initiative serves the dual purpose of encouraging Bank of America’s employees to receive a coronavirus and/or flue vaccine or booster shot before Nov. 23, with a $50 donation going to the New Hampshire Food Bank for every shot taken by employees. Bank of America also donated $50,000 to the New Hampshire Food Bank earlier in the year.

This latest donation marks the latest in 15 years of support by Bank of America and its employees for the New Hampshire Food Bank through direct monetary support and volunteer efforts, including summer internship opportunities through the Bank of America Student Leaders Program which included partnerships from the New Hampshire Food Bank.

In 2021, the New Hampshire Food Bank distributed more than 17 million pounds of food, the equivalent of 15 million meals, to more than 400 nonprofit food agencies in all corners of New Hampshire.
